We provide general contracting services including, but not limited to, residential remodeling, additions, repairs, and related work. Any project or job we perform is subject to a separate written agreement, which will reference and incorporate these Terms.

3. Quotations, Estimates, and Payment Terms

  • All quotations or estimates are subject to change until a formal contract is executed.
  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms shall be as outlined in individual contracts.
  • Late payments may incur interest or fees (e.g., 5% per annum or the maximum allowed by law).

4. Changes, Variations, and Additional Work

Any modification to the scope of work must be documented in writing and signed by both parties. Additional work may result in extra charges and extended timelines.

5. Schedule and Delays

We will complete work according to the agreed schedule, subject to reasonable delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g., weather, supply chain issues, permitting delays).

6. Licensing, Permits, and Compliance

We will maintain all required licenses and insurance and will secure necessary permits unless otherwise agreed. You must cooperate in providing accurate information required for permit applications.

7. Warranties

All labor performed by us will be guaranteed for a period of one (1) year unless otherwise specified in writing. Materials are subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

8. Insurance and Liability

We maintain general liability and workers’ compensation insurance as required by Pennsylvania and New Jersey law. Our total liability for any claim shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific work giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from all claims, damages, or losses arising from your misuse of our services or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a contract in writing. Upon termination, you must pay for all work completed and materials ordered to date. Deposits may be non-refundable.

11. SMS Messaging Terms

  • Program and message types: Mr. Contractor Inc. sends recurring customer-care text messages concerning estimate requests, appointments, scheduling, project updates, and responses to customer questions.
  • Optional consent: Users consent to receive SMS messages only by affirmatively checking the separate, optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox on our contact form. Providing a phone number or submitting an inquiry without checking the SMS consent checkbox does not constitute consent to receive text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Message frequency and fees: Message frequency varies based on customer interactions and project activity. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out: Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. After opting out, you will receive no further SMS messages unless you opt in again.

12. Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, and content remain our property until paid in full. Once paid, you receive a limited license for your project only.

13. Third-Party Products and Materials

We are not responsible for defects in third-party materials or products. Manufacturer warranties apply as stated by their respective companies.

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Disputes shall be resolved as provided in the applicable written contract.

15. Entire Agreement and Amendments

These Terms and any signed contracts form the entire agreement between you and Mr. Contractor Inc. We may update these Terms at any time; changes will be posted on the Website.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
